COMPAGNIE THOR, Brussel kommer til Baltoppen ONSDAG 14.4. 2010 kl. 20:00

This new season will see Thierry Smits returning to pure dance.

To the Ones I Love – creation 2010
To the Ones I Love will stage nine dancers of African origins on the music of Bach. Thierry Smits will avoid all dramaturgy to concentrate only on the modelling potential and the individual and cultural specificities of his dancers, in a supple contrast between the visual and the musical. In the way already opened with D’ORIENT and Soirée dansante, this playful choreography will be above all a celebration of the body and its movements
The creation will première on 27 Jan. 2010, in Liège, during the festival Pays de danses.

1990-2010 – Compagnie Thor’s 20^th anniversary
2010 will also see the company celebrate its 20^th anniversary and we will use this occasion to publish an anniversary-book looking back on 20 years existence and creations in Belgium and abroad. The book will be available by the beginning of 2010.
